Brown and Payne are NICEIC-registered Contractors
National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting (NICEIC).
The NICEIC is the electrical contracting industrys independent voluntary body for electrical installation matters throughout the UK.
From January 2005, all domestic electrical installations must follow the new Part P Building Regulations by law.
The new building regulations state that all electrical installations, repair and maintenance work must be approved by the local building authority control department or undertaken by a “competant person“. A “competant person” has the authority to self-certify that the work carried out to british standards and they then must provide the client and the local authorities the relevant documentation for the electrical works carried out.
